TOEIC Writing Overview

TOEIC Writing Overview:

The TOEIC Writing Test requires you to answer 8 questions in an hour. The variety of tasks assessing their ability to convey information in written accurately, completely and correctly.
Writing tasks are shown below:

Write a Sentence
 
In tasks 1-5, will be shown a screen image, along with two words below the picture. You must use the two words in a phrase that describes the image. It gives you 8 minutes to complete the 5 questions. You can change the grammatical form of the two words are given, but you have to use in your statement. You will be assessed on the basis of grammar and relevance of their answers to the image.
 
Responding to a Request
 
In the tasks 6 and 7, you need to respond to an e-mail address that will appear on your screen. You will have 10 minutes to read and respond to each email, according to the instructions. Once you begin to question 7, you can not return to question 6. You will be graded on the quality of their sentences, vocabulary and content of their responses.
 
Write an Opinion Essay
 
In the last task, you have to write an essay expressing their opinion on a particular topic. You will be given a single theme. You have 30 minutes to write an essay of approximately 4-5 paragraphs or words 300. Your answer will be judged in terms of grammar, vocabulary, organization, logical flow and consistency.
